Crossmarks all the way !!
They are heavy but bullet proof and that's what you want for an Epic.
Have fun !!

Anyone know of a descent tyre that comes in a 29X 2.0. Something similar to the the Ardent or Suggaro. The reason is that i have very little clearance for the rear wheel.

Thanks. Have ridden the Spez tyres but they are too thin for me. Seem to puncture often with them or get side wall cuts.

Need some advice..I have purchased a new 29". I have ridden conti mountain king front and race king at the back on my 26". The bike shop now told me that the 29"tyres doesn't come in UST (conti). are they talking nonsense?

also, for the 29", would you say x king front and race king rear or mountain king front and race king back combo.? i like something in front with lots of grip

the new bike came out with S-Works Fast Trak, 2Bliss Ready, 120 TPI, aramid bead, 29x2.0". tyres seem a little thin

How's the grip on the x-king?

Not nonsense. The conti's are not UST certified but they are tubeless ready. I have a mountain king on the front and x-king on the back - both protection versions - loads of grip if run at the correct pressures.

MK front and RK/XK rear, or XK front and RK rear, depending on your terrain.
Just get the protection and it's doubly tubeless friendly. My Protection Conti keeps its air way longer than the non-Protection Conti I have.

Correct. They didn't have any "UST" for 29ers yet, when I checked last time (November). They are however perfectly tubeless ready.
