I also couldn't save an APN. "Google Apps" you also have to install through CWM.

I'm running the above mentioned Resurrection Remix 3.0.5 Rom and its much better than CM9. Comes pre-installed with Google Apps inc Play store AND Samsung Apps. Super fast as well.

As previously posted, the only bug is the battery life. It barely makes a full day. Have you found a fix somewhere for it?

Google apps sorted, reloaded the rom. Apn is still an issue, some solutions call for new sims. Probably not a bad idea, think I've had mine for about 10 years.

i've been using the CM10 (Jellybean) preview releases on my S2 since they were first released. Although I like it a lot, and they are pretty stable, I recently I went back to ICS (Neatrom) because there is just nothing that beats the battery life

To be honest I'm too scared to mess with my S2's ROM. I saw that some people have started running Icecream Sandwich on theirs, but I think that means messing with the ROM in order to load it.

Hopefully the official Icecream Sandwich update won't be too far away

Mine is upgraded and it sucks, my phone switches off continuosly....

Worse than that my wife says "told you not to mess around with it"

one good thing about samsung losing to apple is that they'll most likely have to remove touchwiz, as that is the crux of their legal loss.

If they remove touchwiz, and just use vanilla ics or jellybean, their devices will be awesome

well said sir
I know all about your new man, your new, older, old man and I heard that he's married;
oh, you be careful Amanda.
Yeah, I found a new friend too, and yeah she's pretty and she's small,
but god damn it, Amanda; oh, god damn it all.
