So Attakwas is done and dusted, managed a 8h08 with one pucture.
Wow that was an awesome race!! Next up : Barberton!

Completed the Barberton Ultra as well yesterday. Those climbs just never stopped!! But was a very awesome route!

Some idea on the scale of the race - this is the Barberton route vs Magalies Monster -

Well done! Just off topic though (sorry) ... how do you do the overlap of route profiles?

Hey Leeann - I export the GPX files to Excel, work out the incremental distances from the lat-long coords with a projection coorection factor, then recalc the elevation as a function of the start point, and bam you just plot two graphs in Excel.

My training was going well until last week Friday. Had to fly to Oz on saturday for work and only landed back in SA a couple of hours ago. I guess I'll know tomorrow how jet lag and an ultra go together...

Anyone doing the half on Sunday as well?

Epic DONE : GC finish : 284
Joberg2c DONE : GC Finish: 96
