My limited edition 2004 Litespeed Vortex was stolen on Saturday night 10 December from my home in Camps Bay. I'd really appreciate you getting in touch with me if you see it on the road or in any second hand channels.
It’s a unique titanium bike with an oversized diamond shaped down tube, tapered diamond shaped top tube with integrated head tube. It's Dura-Ace throughout with an Easton wheelset.
The SA distributor has advised that he only imported 2 such frames to South Africa, and he owns the other one.

Can anyone advise other options for attempting to recover the bike? (The police have already distributed the photograph to all pawn shops and other police stations.)

The attached photograph is off the web - mine has different wheels.

Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin.

Your bike has not been stolen it has been kidnapped, you shall shortly be receiving a ransom note, if you ever want to see it alive a gain you will have one Epic entry available, no questions asked, to be handed over at a time to be advised......

Seriously though sorry for your loss ,will keep an eye out, there can't be many places to ride this bike in public, I cant see your pic you posted, that helps a lot when looking for a unique bike.

Cheers

Thanks for all the feedback - Tubed, I'd happily swap an Absa Cape Epic entry to get my bike back! :(
I've added the picture that was meant to be added with my original post (duh!)Attached Image: 246962Tex.jpg

If that's an artists' easel the bike is resting on, then I'm seriously impressed!
