:cursing: Hi all Hubbers,

Just to advise that at 17:00 today, my son and I were training on our way back just passed the R55 Hueweloord area, and were confronted by some armed gents who felt they needed our bikes more than we did. I just loathe people that cannot go out and work for there own equipment.

So if any of you maybe by any chance see these chaps riding or trying to flog the bikes, give us a buzz 083 303 1951 (Andre) and will gladly oblige a reward of some sorts.

The bike details are a KTM 26" 2011 model and a Bulls copperhead supreme 29" (all white) 2011 model. Both bikes were upgraded with full XT 2012, both bikes had black XT double cranksets.

If there is any further details required to confirm bike's identity, just give us a buzz. Sorry, no pics available, as they were on the phone that was also stolen.

Many thanks,

Andre

Thank God you're safe. Your bikes can be replaced.
Say a prayer for your son and yourself that you get to spend christmas with your loved ones.

Glad you're ok though!

I've been at the wrong end of a pistol and a knife in bikejackings, as well as two other near misses and I can say that the incidents still affect me hugely. Don't take it lightly that it's probably worth you and your son seeing someone about it...

Thanks Guy's,

Yip, glad that we dont have bullet holes in either of us. The lighty is pretty shaken up. Bike was his pride and joy. But, we can replace our bike's, and thank goodness for insurance.

Will take the advise of going to chat to someone about it, not good to go through.

Thanks for the concern.

I was bikejacked at gunpoint in Feb and it still affects me ..... the most horrid thing anyone can go through. You need someone to talk to, someone who cares or loves you.
