Recently bought an NS Holy 2 24" bike from crc.
Want to buy a pair of suspension forks but i'm not sure what the deal is, when it comes to which ones to get. I wanna get some dj specific forks. Checked out CRC and i noticed that Manitou Circus specify 26" wheels only. All the others that i've looked at don't specify.
Would it simply be a matter of cutting the steerer down to fit?
Thanks.
Advise Please

the most NB thing is the axle to crown height to get the correct head angle.
Your frame is designed for a 435mm A-C length, An 80mm DJ fork should be around 440mm A-C which should be fine for what you want.
I dont think you will find a 24" specific fork anywhere.

Thanks man.
I checked out the Manitou Circus 80mm forks. They're the closest dirt jump forks that i could find that matched my current A - C. They're 458mm tho, so 23mm more than my current set up. Excuse my ignorance, i'm new to this, will this make a huge difference?
Another thing i noticed is that the other 24" bikes with 80mm suspension (e.g. NS Metropolis 2 and DMR drone, DMR Transition) all come with Marzocchi DJ3 forks. The head tube angles of these range between 70 deg and 72 deg. My NS has a head tube angle of 71.5 deg. I checked the A - C of the 80mm DJ3 forks, and it's 457.5mm. That's half a mm less than the manitou ones i wanna get. Surely then they'll be fine on my NS? Or are there any other factors that i'm overlooking?

No worries
80mm forks are all roughly the same A-C length.
your bike with the rigid was probably quite steep anyway, that much wont make too much of a difference, i doubt you will even notice it, if the head angle is too low you will feel the bike handles like kak, if you let go the bars they will fall to the side easily.
You should have roughly 20% sag on your DJ fork anyway so it will lower the A-C height.
I went from an 80mm Manitou sliver to a rigid 435mm A-C and i couldn't notice a diff.
Let me know how it goes
