I been following the site but haven't seen if SA raced at all and where they came? Did enjoy reading about how the host of the next world championship was chosen!

Had a look at the entries list and there are 8 saffer's entered, though doesn't say if all raced... but still 8 is pretty good I think!

Just going through the photo's on the facebook page and quite a number of SA flags are hovering in the background :)

I reckon there must have been a lot of emigrated boytjies there.

Race report:

Wonder where sara muhl came in the race?

If we had won, where would it be held? I would think stellenbosch as the best combination of airport/accom/trails/party venues

According to the Tweets from Grant (SSGrantUsher) he finished about 15 or thereabouts. Unfortunately the only SA rider in the top 20. He reckons the irish had inside info when it came to the decider for sswc11 - horizontal bungie. They arrived in rugby togs, our guys were barefoot and dodgy cleated.

I reckon they all did pretty well anyway or just didn't want any tat's

SSWC was one of the coolest races ever! The start is a lottery though, myself and the chick got onto the course in about 900th position, I probably overtook about 400 people but the race was over for us as a contest the minute they opened the gate and we were on the wrong side.
Grant got an awesome start, hit the track in about the top 150 or so.
As far as results go, they record the top 5 outside of that it doesn't matter and that is awesome!
