from what i understand it will be part of the redstone route Wheelsuck excluding the mountain climb... so it will be pretty flat and fast. take note that the swim will be a 1000m at the island estate race

Thanks FP,

I did one of the First Redstone Races and there was some technical stuff, especially the one secion that went up the trees and there was a very dodgy singletrack with a wicked drop to the side that section ended up at the rivercrossing, that's why I was asking. it could get congested.

are you speaking about the technical downhill with all the rocks wheelsuck? if its the section i'm thinking of it wont be part of the course. well i hope not because that is a seriously dodgy section, guaranteed to see allot of people walking it

Faceplant: This was a seriuos uphill with a narrow singletrack that was against a cliff that was newly cut and had a drop fo about 5M on the one side. I think the one u mentioned was towards the midlle of the 2 Lapper that was also quite tuf an technical. Think they will probably use part of the 20km Route of the Redstone race and then it is different to the route we are talking about...Thank Goodness

I'll definitely do the first one as a warm up for Xterra. My swimming isn't that great, only started 2 weeks ago, but hey, it'll be fun. Posted Image

Love the Sasol Series, have been doing them since one the first ones (Ruimsig). Also does not mess to much with your training plans and sometimes compliments it perfectly, ideal to just get the juices flowing.
