i think you can request that the person be notified, but obviously im no pro. Ok most likely the sms is b.s but how was he able to send an sms from such a long number: +2784000131700002. I checked with someone else and it seems that if you get any sms from nedbank its also the same amount of digits. The number just made it look more real.

SMS from numbers like that are easy and anyone can get access. They usually originate from a bulk messaging provider, such as Clickatell etc... Some providers also allow you to mask the caller ID as a word etc... but some have checks in place to ensure that the user has claim to the words or numbers masked.

the sms is ligit but with an interbank transfer the money only goes through after 12 which means he can do the transfer on the internet then quickly go and empty his account so the transfer cant go through. Theres a pic of the bike in classifieds .. morewood shova soft tail
The moment you action an EFT for payment same day it will deduct the amount immediately and hold it as held funds and the amount available will be less than the EFT. With EFT the recipient will only get their funds the next day unless they use the same bank as you in which case it will reflect immediate.

Not there now...

There was a silver MTB (with red forks) in Gumtree a few days ago...the seller didn't list the make or model and the quality of the photo wasn't too good either however it was in JHB.

Does Nerdbank know this has happened?
Hey, don't call my bank that, rather call them something like Bloody Daylight Robbers!
