Awesome ride last night guys, clocked around 46km from Dunkeld.

hey guys i recorded the route from dunked( ok most of it, lost abut 4km at the stop as i paused my phone and forgot to restart until we were almost at ellis park).
i cant upload the Google earth track but if you want it PM me and ill send it on via e-mail

I clocked the route from Dunkeld up to the Braamfontein finish, where i was distracted by beer and hot dogs at Great Dane...a pity more riders didn't join, but it was late...interesting ride back from Braamfontein to Saxonwold at about 11pm

^{1 week to go. If you are starting in Dunkeld, make sure that you bike works, that you are ready to leave at 18h00 and that you are fit enough to get to to Braamfontein by 19h00. If you have any doubts, start at 19h00 in Braamfontein and ride the easier/shorter (but no less fun) route. Looks again like this will be the biggest one yet, lets just hope the weather doesn't become icy...
After the finish in Braamfontein, some friends and I had a beer and hot dog at Great Dane in Braamfontein. It was great, so was the ride back to Dunkeld. I will be doing the same this month, join us guys!}

Can't wait! I'll be starting from the bramfountain this time. I'm bringing a friend with (who doens't ride) and he may struggle with hte longer route. Also I may have to ride a DH bike... so would prefer to avoid the oxford road climb

I'm riding my track bike which has a pretty big gear, and I'm starting in Dunkeld...We'll see how it goes on that climb, I'm dreading it
