This one for all you Computrainer users out there.
I have a lot of Ant+ stuff, HR traps, Cadence/Speed sensors etc which I use with my Garmin 310, 705, iPhone etc (OK I'm a bit of a geek).
I also then bought a Computrainer but the peripheral interfaces for the CT are stone-aged, so barely wireless for HR and wired for Cadence...
SO, what to do?!
Enter ctAnt:
http://www.ct-ant.com/overview.html
You need the software above and a Garmin Ant+ dongle, follow the instructions here:
http://www.dcrainmak...ntegration.html
And your Computrainer arrives squarely in the 21st century.
HAPPY TRAINING!

Do, or do not. There is no try.

Great, they are making progress, but it looks like a software plug-in only. The Computrainer software and handlebar box will stay as cr@p as ever
I have a Computrainer, but it is way behind Tacx and Elite in terms of software and the bike mount is outdated technology from 20 years ago.

A real climber would never fit a 25 - Marco Pantani (EPO power?)

It looks like the software is due for an update in the near future:

Racermate one still might not include the Ant+ bit. They have committed to continuing interoperability with the ctAnt tool.
Do, or do not. There is no try.

I've been using PerfPro Studio (including analyzer)
http://perfprostudio.com/
Brilliant! ANT+ is integrated, has option for spinscan (using computrainer cadence sensor) and lots of other great stuff. Continuously being improved and Drew is great with customer service - responds to questions and requests very quickly.
Also a good price compared to Racermate and stand alone ctANT.

Does anyone actually use their computertrainer to its full potential? By that I mean other than just riding courses?
