Did Bottelary Hills trails from Middelvlei cellar last weekend, it's beautiful out there. Lots of open roads but not a lot of singletrack compared to Bainskloof. Great training area if you live close by, but if you like driving and exploring give Bains mtb Trails a go. Singletrack heaven.

Comparing to Bottelary Trails how do you rate it?

The rain has come and gone. Put on those arm and leg warmers and come and enjoy some singletrack.

A cycling bud told me about the coverage, 2 sundays ago, of the new trails in Wellington mountains..... funny though. I live there but I am a roadie. Bain's is a lekker ride though. Takes me 42min to the top from my house. The ride down is awesome
And bumpy as hell

YEAH!!! We made the cut for the 39 best MTB trails in SA in the September month issue of Bicycling magazine. Page 65. Not all the detail, but better than nothing.

Almost Weekend, Yahoo!!! Saterday is going to be perfect for a nice singletrack session. Only one week before Gravel Travel, so come stretch legs with a long one before the race.

Man...

It really blows that I've been working every Saturday over the past month, when every one of them was absolutely perfect for riding!

Can't wait to get out there! Posted Image

I love this spot.  Here are a couple of the pics we took.  Was a cold rainy winters day, but that didn't dampen our enjoyment one bit.

The coffee shop is great, but do yourself a favour and taste the wine, its pretty good and not expensive!

This is steeper than it looks and lots of fun.

For those that haven't ridden here, I highly recommend it! We take our guests (from all over the world) out here often and they just can't get over how lucky we are to have such views and DEDICATED single track for mountain bikers with hardly anyone else out there. If anyone wants to know what they are missing, download our trail map of the area and be prepared to head out there soon! Our map is actually outdated already and there is more trail than shown due to the passion of the guys involved-will update it soon!

The more people that rides Gravel Travel, the more singletrack you will receive. Help us help YOU. Singletrack building is a addiction here in Wellington.
