ouch! that looks nasty!

I wonder if it was the result of misuse/a crash? If it was a flaw in the frame that resuted in the weakness then the lifetime warranty should cover it.

so basically what you're telling me is that Mike's killer green Nomad carbon is virtually indestructable, your alu santa cruz will break under half the force... and my cracken-dale needs to be treated like granny's special china tea set

In a nutshell. Yes.

I guess I better start saving now so that I can afford a plastic bike in a couple years time :cursing:
One thing I don't like about the plastic bikes is that although they are obviously stronger, when they do fail it's pretty catastrophic.

Those tests are very cool to watch but seriously who is gonna ride their bike into a wall.
Where was the rear susp test and pulling the BB away from the fork.

Doesn't help if a bike is super strong with the 1 test but then kak in another.
you will never improve untill you try something STUPID!

true! that is a very crucial test. Those forces are the same forces that killed my previous DH bike

Ja, good point Peach. My Crack-n-sell Meta 5.5 also succumbed to those types of forces.
Mental note - stop casing jumps :cursing:
