have also noticed that the times in the road race are not in order, with faster times being placed lower than slower riders

it was a bit of a dogshow with registering and even route marking. i think most people enjoyed the MTB race, it was really fast and fun. But they need to make sure its run very well in the future!
can you gymkhana?

Seems a number of results are showing as 'not started', which is rather annoying

Yep seems the general organisation left a lot to be desired. The start was chaotic with large batches and very narrow chutes. By the time we reached the wide road the leaders were some 700km away. It used to be a great race with lots of atmosphere. The stadium is too big.

I seriously dont understand their results page! The elite mens results are nowhere to be found? They also changed the the race distance for the elites from 125 to 105 the night before, only then realizing that the circuit riding at the end could cause traffic problems with other cyclists.

 "Why make life simple when, with just a little bit of effort, it can be made very difficult". Normally applied to gov departments but also to Mr Price results!
All I want to see is the 1st 20 or so of the elite mens race and I can't find them!

The results are correct, the search facility is a bit .... errr interesting. You need to choose the "Race" as well as the "Event" or you get everybody's results (ie if you do not choose an Event you get the results for 10km, 25km and 40km all in one list). On my work computer I also need to search everything twice for some reason as well (the first search seems to wake up the results site that I want to change something and the second time it searches as requested).

For the Tour Durban Road results, all the Elite men are under the 125km Event and not the 105km event with the rest of the plebs - that is understandable as they would have been pre-entered for that event and it was probably too late to change them all to one event.
God knows I am an atheist
