Morning Hubbers,

It's been a little while since we kicked off the process in the original thread on The Hub Kit. We've put together a new design based on the feedback on the various designs we looked at previously. This new design is a little more aligned with our branding (colours mostly) and I believe will be very versatile in being a road and MTB friendly design: without too much black / dark colours (particularly around the shoulders) while also avoiding too much white.

There are two options on the shorts: one is perhaps more roadie friendly with the white panel and the other more MTB friendly - But it's really about personal preference. The gray/black short will use thicker lycra in the side panels which is said to be more durable as they aren't fully printed panels.

Orders
We're just about ready to start taking orders. The initial run will be pre-orders with a waiting period of 4-6 weeks from payment to delivery.
I'll post all the details i.t.o. sizing, zips, shorts options etc. early next week.

*A special thanks to Mampara for submitting his designs in the original thread. We've used a lot of the feedback and his designs as a base in this new design - with a few more curves and some colour switches. - Thank you

We can do a second round of orders around then. I'd like to carry a small amount in stock, but obviously can't guarantee that we'll have the specific size and options you'd like in stock.

Is there a chance to put "TheLegend" on the back ob the bis instead of the hub? Would make it more interesting. Or perhaps "YouLikeIt"! :-)

2 questions please admin,

  • Will I be able to go try the tops at a shop that stocks Anatomic for sizing?
  • Are we having our "hub" aliases on the tops?
Otherwise they look great :)

1. will all this be unisex or are there womens specific shorts and shirts?

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

I'll enquire, but I expect customizing shirts / shorts could bump the cost up quite considerably.

1. Anatomic have Factory outlets in Cape Town and Joburg. I'm sure it won't be a problem to check sizing at one of their retailers in Durbs and other centres. I'll confirm with them and get details.
2. See above

I'm sure it would be much more expensive. But I was suggestion for every bib sporting the same cool comment. Who wouldn't want to be a legend? :D
