I am putting my Specialized Tarmac up for sale.
I bought the frame in October 2008 from Bridge Cycles who is an authorised Specialized dealer.
Details as follows.
Frame: Specialized Tarmac Expert 2007 (L – 56)
Groupset: Shimano Ultegra (the one that was out just before they launched the SL version)
Wheels: Shimano Ultegra 6700 RoadTubeless (less than 1 000km old)
Tires: Continental Gatorskins
Stem: Specialized (unsure what model)
Handelbar: Ritchey Pro Aero (Alu)
Seat: Prologo Nago Gel (Pro Ti 1.4)
Bad news is that she has one or two scratch marks when I dropped a chain and had chain suck during the Burger race in 2008, so less than 2 months after I got her (Pics of damaged included). I immediately had the shop, where I bought the bike, look at it to see if there was any serious damage and was informed that it was only superficial and non critical. Since then I have done quite a couple of rides to a total of no more than 3 000km. I am not the lightest person and the frame has dealt with my 95kg no problem whatsoever.
With all the recent stolen goods on the market I still have the original receipt, although it’s faded, and the serial number should still be registered on my name with Specialized as further proof.
This is an awesome bike and is being under utilised by myself currently. I have two very young children and a newly bought home that are my responsibility.
