More from this advertiser Hello faithful hubbers! I am building up a cheapie bike for my girlfriend to try mountain biking (on a student budget, I might be mad...). Unfortunately, the old 8-speed bits that I have are pretty knackered and the chain keeps slipping along the cassette sprockets (I'm guessing this is because of wear - if you have any other ideas, please share 
).
So, I am hoping that some kind riding soul out there might have a cassette/chain combo (8- or 9-speed) that they would be willing to let go for a small price...

Might have both for you. I think its 8spd. Will let you know before 5pm

I have a 8spd cassette and chain taken off a new hybrid with standard road wheels. It was set uP with 8 spd dual mtb shifters. I have an Easton EA50 685mm hi rise bar as well and an 8spd deraileur. Pm me if youre interested.
